Top 4 Fashion Trends for 2020

Top 4 Fashion Trends for 2020

With spring just around the corner, we are getting ready to bring you our new collection at Curvy Clothing.

Here are my Top 4 Predictions of what will be on-trend in 2020.

1. Dresses

Everywhere you look, everyone will be wearing them. We have had a sneak peek of the European summer and dresses are being worn everywhere, from the tennis (think Wimbledon and Kate Middleton in that beautiful white and black belted bow dress). The day dress styles that are dominating have several details in common; they are all pretty, made from light-weight fabrics and breezy to wear when the sun it out. The great thing about dresses is that you can get ready quickly because all you need to do is put on shoes or funky sneakers and look as you have had put in considerable effort.

Wrap dresses are particularly in and cast a flattering and sexy silhouette. Curvy women particularly look smart in this versatile dress, which can be dressed up or down.

2. Animal Prints in Leopard & Snake Skin

This year's hot style trend is bold and wild prints.

In particular, leopard and snake prints are the standouts and will feature on a variety of garments, including dresses, pants, jackets, suits and more. These strong and striking designs are truly bold and can be blended with bright colours, which are also on a fashion high right now. A leopard jumpsuit, snake print jacket or even leopard print bag or shoes are hot this season.

3. Yellow

Yellow is on-trend for the upcoming summer. It has been seen on the spring 2019 runways and yellow is the ‘in’ thing. There are varying shades of the hot hue from marigold and pale yellow and we noticed that even Beyonce wore a stunning gold to The Lion King premiere in London on July 2019.

With yellow being the colour of the season, blooming in the spring and summer, make sure to check out our new collection of curvy clothing for plus-sized ladies. We have ensured that we have a vast array of garments including dresses, tops, skirts and pants in this gorgeous colour.

4. Neon

Fluorescent shades hit the fashion scene last year and many of us thought it would go away. We are about to be proven wrong as catwalk photos from recent shows are showcasing retro trends are remerging including cycling shorts with shoulder-padded power suits or blazers to tie-dye.

Colours like lime green, sunny yellow, hot pink or flaming orange can really stand out and look amazing on curvy ladies.

Just remember that confidence is how you wear neon.
