Our designer, Annie is creating some of her most creative work this spring, and this is a fine example of the very best of her best. This sleeveless maxi dress has a self-trimmed V-neckline, a center seam with a full-length godet, a swingy (and easy-to-wear) a-line form and an incredibly chic hemline that’s ballooned at each side and curved up in the front (a ‘high-low’ hemline.)The rectangular shawl is extra generously long and wide (29″ by 79″) and you’ll so enjoy wrapping and twisting it round your shoulders. Made up in our very finest rayon jersey, a fabric with a supportive, non-clingy stretch, a silky texture and a supple drape and flow factor. The vogue colors are rich and sumptuous, and the fabric is surprisingly easy to care for, simply launder in cold water, hang to dry. This is a delightfully easy-to-wear and carefree ensemble with a sophisticated chic based in understated simplicity and elegance. You’ll want to wear this graceful outfit as often as you possibly can.
